This is the philosophy of A. War
Philosophy of A. War
Andy said the best artist was businessman
And the best businessman is a cold blood killer
So it follows that the best artists are killers too
If you see a man dying note the color of his blood
And snap a picture
Snap a picture
Snap a picture
Form against everything
Everybody hurts and is against everything
Shape against everything
Have you heard of me?
Well then I guess you've heard of everything
Form against everything
Everybody hurts and is against everything
The scroll it is against everything
Search for stimulation playing dumb against everything
Opener absolutely rips. Falls into the ranks of tracks like “Dance” by ESG, “Eisbaer” by Grauzone, “Damaged Goods” by Gang of Four or like the album description says Kleenex. This is some really good stuff. Favorite song is the opener but dedicate “Blue” to my friend Blue who lost her life at 22, she would have loved this album. TheBloodofChrist
I'm so pissed off. They are sexy, catchy, smart and punk. Everything I Iost when I turned 45.
I love this band. If you have a shred of love left for young punkrockers and genuinely good music you will support these pricks.
They might be assholes IRL but who cares. Cheers. Torsten Von Nerdbot
Across their second full-length, the London post-punks offer up thrumming motoriks, industrial tones, and sullen sing-a-longs in abundance. Bandcamp New & Notable Mar 17, 2024
The Minneapolis band add a horn section, a running surrealist allegory about walls, and an occasional nod to the elegiac to their electroshocked post-punk. Bandcamp Album of the Day Mar 4, 2024
Layering guitars and saxes over synths and drum machines, this Oakland duo's darkwave is as melodically potent as it is texturally rich. Bandcamp New & Notable Feb 1, 2024
